On February 6, my friend lost his Grandma Rose who was 100 years old. He figured he’d better stock up on food and drink for the people who would be visiting to pay their respects. At the liquor store, he grabbed a bottle of his usual whiskey brand, but a lone bottle on the shelf caught his eye called “Yellow Rose.” My friend put his usual brand down and picked up the single bottle. Grandma Rose loved the color yellow, it was her favorite, and in a nod to Texas, Grandma Rose and grandpa were married in San Antonio. My friend reminisced about a fun visit he’d had with Grandma Rose and grandpa before grandpa passed. Of course, he had to get that Yellow Rose. When he got home, his wife noted the batch number stamped on the label was 1923 — the year Grandma Rose was born on September 6. Cheers to Grandma Rose for sending a clear sign and to my friend for seeing signs. Let us know what signs you’d like to read about. Email us at seeingsignsblog@gmail.com
