I went to visit a friend who was diagnosed with cancer. He was telling me about all the positive things he was doing to keep up his spirits and encourage healing. He likes to say that, in addition to his medical treatments, he’s embracing more California woo woo than ever before by filling his days with yoga, meditation, prayer, reiki, sound baths and decorating walls throughout his house with messages of love and encouragement from friends and family. During the visit, a hummingbird kept hovering in front of the glass sliding door that leads to the patio. His cat was quite interested in the hummingbird as the beak began tapping on the glass. There isn’t a hummingbird feeder outside or any flower to attract a hummingbird to come for a visit. It was such a curious occurrence, we wondered if it was a sign, and what does it mean. In Native American culture, hummingbirds are symbols of healing and good luck. That pretty little bird is a welcome sign anytime. Do you see signs? Let us know about them at seeingsignsblog@gmail.com
