The other day a friend came over and pointed out that I had a trail of ants climbing up my door jamb outside. “Oh, yay!” was not the reaction she expected from me. I told her that last year, I did a blog post about black ants being a good sign. That line of black ants symbolizes teamwork and money coming. She asked, “Is that true?” and I confirmed that the last time I had a black ant invasion, I acquired a new client. Since I’m looking for work right now, those little signs of good fortune couldn’t have come at a better time. Maybe in the past I wouldn’t have associated black ants with wealth and happiness, but now I see those little old ants being busy and working together and I have high hopes.
