I was driving with my cousin looking for a parking spot at a busy mall. “Use three fingers,” she said. Then explained to put the first finger, middle finger and thumb together and picture us finding a parking place. Talk about princess or rock-star parking—it worked! Since then, I’ve used three fingers for a parking spot all the time. It always works. I have told friends about it, and three fingers worked for them too. What was this parking magic? In 1977, José Silva taught The Silva Mind Control Method. The Three Fingers Technique was a tool to get to a deeper level of awareness (and a great parking spot!). The Silva Mind Control Method was a self-help movement that tapped into psychic energy using meditation and visualization. Maybe it would be helpful to learn more, but I’m just happy unlocking the key to finding a good place to park.
Three fingers for a parking place

Never heard of this method before, but the fingers and hand placement do go right along with a lot of meditation techniques. I do meditation a lot. Never for a good parking spot, but why not? I’m more of a hopeful wish type . . . with a little Om, Om; Namaste!😀
I didn’t think about the finger placement being a meditation technique…just magic! Let us know if you try the technique for parking and if it works for you.
It’s true! That’s how I get hard to find parking spots 🙂
Sometimes I have to circle around before I remember, “use three fingers.” And when it works, I’m so happy.
Learned the same technique but I must say, it doesn’t always work for me! Maybe, my psychic, meditation and visualization aren’t working in sync! Now that I am older, I prefer to park further. I need the exercise!
Nothing is 100%, right! I need the exercise too.
Me too! 😀❤
I love it. Yep, there’s never a time I don’t get my parking space using the three finger method and believing it will happen. My friend took Silva Mind Control back in the 70s and loved it. Thanks for posting!!
Believing must be the key!
The Silva Mind Control Method sounds fascinating. This is the first time I’ve heard of it.
I had to do an online search because I only knew about the “three fingers for parking” and not the origin of it.
