Do you see online ads for items after a web search or saying a product’s name out loud? It’s like advertisers are telepathic—or spying on us. That isn’t fun, but it is fun when something reminds you of a friend and then out of the blue, they contact you. It’s like you’re sending signals out to the universe and the signs are reaching your friend. Time and again, I’ll have someone on my mind and want to say hi, but time slips away. And then they call or text. I don’t know if they believe me when I say, “I’ve been thinking about you,” but it’s true. It’s even gotten so that I’ll just send out the message to the universe for them to call me just for the fun of it.
