Both my grandmothers were named Rose, so it was always my favorite flower and roses mean even more now that they have passed away. I have a happy feeling when I see a rose. There are many types and fragrances of roses, and different rose colors have their own meaning. Red roses are a sign of love or romance, yellow roses a symbol of friendship, pink roses represent femininity and white roses are a sign of purity. Roses are a great sign because they’re so prevalent and provide many opportunities for me to think of my grandmothers when I stop and smell the roses.
