My friend loved her job as a teacher but decided maybe it was time to retire. She opted for a semi-retirement in case she changed her mind and wanted to go back to teaching. On her first day home, she was debating whether she was doing the right thing and would be happy retiring. Then she noticed the clock in her bathroom was stopped at 3:45. She thought that was weird because 3:45 is the time she would usually leave school to go home. It was at that moment, she felt it was a sign to chill and enjoy life. The clock showing 3:45 symbolized all the things she wasn’t able to do while she was working. She’ll miss her little students while she’s traveling, golfing, lunching with friends and catching dinner and a movie on a school night.
