Recently I was hiking with a friend who told me that when she was in college, one semester she didn’t have enough money for gas to get her all the way back to school. In a big leap of faith, she filled her tank, bought a lottery scratch-off ticket and got on the road. That scratch off paid for her gas, meals and a hotel stay that got her safely back to university. It reminded me of when I was a kid, and my family moved to Las Vegas. My dad didn’t have a job so every night, he went to the casino nearest to our rental apartment and played blackjack. He would win $100 and walk away. During the day, he looked for work followed by a trip to the casino. Every night, without fail, he won $100 and walked away. After about a month, he was gainfully employed and wouldn’t you know, he never had a string of luck like that again. How are these stories related to seeing signs? I’ve heard the saying “gambling is a losing game,” but in both these cases, winning was a sign they were on the right path. Personally, I don’t advocate for gaming, the odds are too stacked against me, but a lottery ticket every now and again — I’ll buy one if I see a sign.
Roll the dice

Gaming has never been my forte. Here I see two great stories of luck meeting with opportunity to produce a greater good. There’s a dichotomy in here somewhere, if you ask me. I wish everyone to see a lil good luck to come your way today . . . A good sign! 😀
A good sign, indeed!
oh wow!!
I love how you see the positives of the signs! Can’t wait for the next post.❤️
How did the friend get gas and buy a lotto ticket if they didn’t have money?
Thank you for your question. She only had enough money to get her part of the way. She took a leap of faith because if the lottery ticket wasn’t a winner, who knows where she would be now!
I can top that story of the father of four who didn’t have a job but went to the Casino to earn money to support his family. One night, it wasn ‘t going so good for him. He was losing. He never played slots. He invested some change in the slot machine and walked away with $25.00. He took that $25.00 and went back to the blackjack table and walked away with his $100.00 payoff. I have a feeling it was Divine intervention for him that night.
